all the weapons stats go on to your stats and when you attack you total attack minus there def is the damage dealt
with magic the magic damage + your magic and if attacking an enemy minus res and that is the damage and if stat raising magic
its stat + your magic and that is how much your stat is raised and with dodging their is  ex aim 10 dodg 11 there is a little chance it will be evaded but if the ddg is lower than aim then it will hit no matter what  whoever has higher spd attacks first
